Title: Tsonga Brand & Retail Manager
Experience: 7+ years.
Remuneration: R50,000 – R60,000 (depending on experience).
Location: Cape Town. In office with flexibility.
Agreement: Permanent employment with 3-month probation period.

Role Summary: 

We are looking for a seasoned Brand & Retail Manager to lead the transformation of Tsonga’s brand and retail presence. This is a strategic and creative leadership role, responsible for aligning the brand's storytelling with its retail experience across physical and digital environments. You’ll drive retail marketing campaigns, manage loyalty and CRM programs, and ensure our store communications and in-store experiences are inspiring, cohesive, and effective.

This position requires a strong leader with retail brand experience, a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, and the ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, co-ordinate and oversee the Tsonga brand’s full eco-system to drive business growth.
  • Lead and execute the full retail marketing calendar, including seasonal campaigns, product drops, promotions, and in-store events.
  • Manage POS strategy, including development of POS assets, in-store signage, and toolkits.
  • Guide the e-commerce calendar and digital retail storytelling, working closely with internal content and external partner teams.
  • Drive loyalty and CRM initiatives with measurable retention results.
  • Oversee visual merchandising standards and support store staff with necessary tools and digital upskilling (e.g. Shopify POS).
  • Partner closely with digital, content and design teams to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Manage budgets for retail marketing initiatives and brand campaigns.
  • Provide monthly regular reports on campaign performance, spend, and ROI to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Omega Brand Manager to align broader brand strategies and share best practices.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years in retail marketing, brand or retail strategy, or related field.
  • Strong strategic mindset with proven creative marketing flair.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experienced in both physical retail and e-commerce environments.
  • Ability to create inspiring briefs and give strong strategic creative direction.
  • Organised, deadline-driven and analytical with strong commercial acumen.
  • Financially literate with experience managing budgets and reporting.
  • Proficient in Shopify and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Understanding of AI tools and emerging technologies.
